Our Managing Partners

Andy Sawyer and Neil Katz both have a longstanding personal interest in film. Before forming our company in 2008, they each had various projects and movie involvements of their own.

Sawyer was a film buff ever since he was a child. He formed Deer Path Films to provide critical financing for Eli Roth’s feature debut in Cabin Fever (2003). The movie was then picked up and distributed by Lions Gate. Since two decades prior to forming 10th Hole, Katz has been a patron of the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

Both Sawyer and Katz live in Westport, CT with their respective families. They support the Westport Cinema Initiative, which aims to bring film festivals and a new theater to their community.
