10th Hole, Katz & Sawyer have executive produced or co-produced three films in 2009 and 2010 and has two films in production in 2011. The Kids Are All Right, the duo’s first EP credit, was a hit at Sundance 2010, where Focus Features purchased the US rights, and won critical and box office acclaim after its release in the summer of 2010. Starring Golden Globe Best Actress Annette Bening, Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo, director Lisa Cholodenko’s first film in 8 years won the 2011 Golden Globe for Best Picture, Comedy or Musical in addition to being an Academy Award Best Picture Nominee. The Romantics, described as a “zeitgeist love story and generational comedy”, stars Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Anna Paquin and Elijah Wood, and was distributed domestically by Paramount Famous. Salvation Boulevard, a dark comedy and religious thriller, features Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, and Marisa Tomei. The film was screened at Sundance 2011 where domestic distribution was purchased by IFC & Sony and was released in July of 2011. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini’s Girl Most Likely (Kristen Wiig, Darren Criss, Annette Bening, Matt Dillon) and Scott McGehee and David Siegel’s What Maisie Knew (Alexander Skarsgard, Julianne Moore, Steve Coogan) both premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival where they obtained 2013 theatrical distribution deals. First time director Shaka King's Newlyweeds debuted at Sundance 2013. Sawyer’s Deer Path Films was also involved with horror pic, Cabin Fever, which was purchased by Lions Gate and released in 2002.
